What We Do
We create simple and beautiful items that are bespoke to your needs. We work primarily in eco-friendly hardwoods, particularly oak, but work with other woods as suits a particular project. We also work with glass, customising pre-made items such as bottles, glasses and jars for gift purposes, to make memories - or just to make your herb and spices easier to find!
We make beautiful things, that are for you. This means much of the time the item is entirely unique, even down to the dimensions of the piece of wood used - so for example if you want your house number to be in a unique font, or using an extra thick piece of oak, just say. We do also produce some items that have a standard base and then can be customised, like our eco-medals, which can just be purchased "as is" or can be customised further with event name/date/position, whatever suits.
We make beautiful things, but often by nature those things are not necessary (other than for the soul!). So to balance that we try to use environmentally sound materials; inherently true for say glass bottles, which can be refilled, repurposed and easily recycled. For wood we try to use
(a) wood that lasts
(b) wood that is relatively local (sourced in the UK)
(c) wood that is surplus to requirements, whether that's reclaimed from other uses or offcuts too small to be of use in construction or landscaping.
